About Course The
applicants will be divided into these four different courses; 1.
Conductor course 2.
Master course 3.
Professional course 4.
Auditor 1.
Conductor Course For conductors wishing to review and
improve their skills intensively, and for students conductors or future conductors. Each participant will have total of 4 hours
of score analysis and 60 minutes of piano rehearsals. (15min/podium) 2.
Master Course For conductors. Each participant will have
total of 4 hours of score analysis, 60 minutes of piano rehearsals (20
min/podium), 60 minutes of ensemble rehearsal. (20 min/podium) 3.
Professional course Each participant will have total of 4 hours
of score analysis, 60 minutes of piano rehearsal (20min/podium), and 60 minutes of orchestral rehearsal
(20min/podium) and showcase concert. 4.
Auditors Auditors can attend all rehearsals and have
access to all the lessons and technical discussions but do not participate
directly. ·
All rehearsals will be recorded by 6mm video. ·
The participants will conduct everyday. In addition to that
there will be extra rehearsals, technical exercises, and video sessions with
the Maestro. Repertoires ·

* Movements or entire works can be chosen by applicants. Tuition and Fees
*Including Hotel,
Breakfast, dinner, and transportation(between Hotel and school) ·
Application fee : $100 (non-refundable) ·
For the 6mm video recording: the 6mm digital Video tape (mini
DV) PROVIDED BY APPLICANTS. For Applying Applications are
currently being accepted for the Michael Palmer International Conducting Workshop
2008. The deadline for priority consideration is June 6, 2008 (valid through
deadline). |
